The intense heat and humidity Maryland has been in all summer so far continues...so I go to my "man cave" and work on images never even opened.
While these are great in color, to me, B&W added some nice texture, lines and umph!

Really likin' the last here Dan. We had a Brookside Dairy that delivered milk to our door in a cooler pack made of pressboard and aluminum, when I was a kid. No service like that anymore.
Douglas
Excellent work here, Dan. Any one of them would make a great entry for the Weekly Assignment of Black & White, which it looks like you'll win anyway.

Oh I grew up with "milk deliveries" Douglas! Especially in Iowa. Maryland(1958) not so much. The old style glass milk bottles with the cream resting on the top.
There is 1 dairy that still delivers milk, ice cream and other cold "goodies". in this area.
South Mt Creamery. They have the olde style delivery trucks also. I have a photo somewhere. Must post.
Thanks!

The color version of the flowers is very nice but the texture gets a tad lost in color.
B&W was far better.
I am very happy to see many more participating in the WA/MA assignments!
Thanks!

Nice work. #3 for me.
Thanks Jim!
The color is a beautiful orange! The color did not allow the texture of the leaves to be noticable and the small dew drops were invisable. So hence the conversion.

All nice but the last one is really superb.
Merci beaucoup Michel!
Yes...The color version did not emphasize that the flower has dew droplets on it but the mono did.
The flowers color is a beautiful orange but hid the dew drops entirely.
Thanks!
