These are beautiful James!
I had this vine for my hummers but it got so invasive in my flower bed, I had to remove it. The hummingbirds that would visit my yard to feast on the nectar from the trumpets, always return and look .."where is the nectar?"...then fly off with a "po'd" look on their face!
Excellent!

Thanks Dan. They are taking over my yard. I have a three way fight in one spot. Grape vines, Wisteria and Trumpet vines. Since my 2019 transplant I am not suppose to touch plants anymore, because of my immune system. However, if the temp falls to a reasonable level I plan to go after the jungle with gloves, and appropriate clothes'

Excellent, James, these are supposed to be attractants for hummingbirds, yet I have never seen a hummingbird feeding from my trumpet vine/s.

Thanks Douglas. I have seen them feeding on the flowers - they literally fly into the flower to get to the interesting bits.
