I climbed this little mountain in Washington's central Cascades on my birthday a few years ago to spend the night just below the summit.

Mt. Baker in the distance. I was treated to a spectacular avalanche of the Kyes Glacier seen below. You can see the huge area that slid off, and the debris field far below.
