What a great subject to walk around getting different views. Lovely in b&w.
Thanks so much! You know how it is - once you find a subject like this it's hard to put the camera down! I really enjoy finding rusty old treasures like this. Every side of that truck had a story to tell!
Great set! Lighting is perfect, difficult to pick a fav.
We have family in central Oregon and I often go vehicle "hunting" during our visits, so many trophies to be found. The high desert climate helps, both for structures and vehicles.
I missed these on my 1st pass Scott! These are indeed spectacular!!! Beautiful sheen to each composition!
Lovely setting to find this relic also! Just love it when one finds a hidden beauty!
SUPER photography Scott!

Really nice treatment of this relic, Scott!
Douglas
Douglas, thank you for the kind words! On most of these I used Nik Silver Efex. I like the results I get from that. I also tried the new Adaptive B&W profile in LR but found Silver Efex more to my liking.

You're too kind Dan, thank you! I had a hard time choosing out of these an image for this week's challenge. I still think I like the first one best, which is what I went with!

I love these old trucks! You did a great job creating these images!
Thank you Jon, these old trucks really have a way of pulling you in! I could have spent even more time there. Glad that the images resonate with you and thanks for your feedback.

On my 30" calibrated monitor these are much more impressive Scott!

Awesome Dan, love hearing that! These definitely shine more on the bigger screen. Sometimes I'm underwhelmed when I view them on a phone screen. Thank you!

My 1st view is always in the morning after getting coffee for Suzanne and myself. I use her Mac 16" laptop and the screen is rather small. I just don't get a good view of an image.
But in my "workshop" I have a 27" and 30" calibrated monitors and WOW!!!
What a difference in all aspects of viewing an image file!
Again SUPER job Scott!

Fantastic find and well done! Beautiful B&W!

Carol, thank you so much! I really appreciate the kind words. The scene came together and I lucked out with the light. The truck is actually pretty cool looking in color too, but it just begged to be captured in b&w!
