I had a successful day at a local pond the other morning. The funny thing is, I hadn't planned to go, but my wife told me she was heading over there to walk some of the trails, so I grabbed my camera bag and went with her. :-)
This Green Heron seemed to be pretty calm given the number of people roaming about, and I sensed he was most concerned with all the Peacocks that were there.
Anyway, I got some good shot of him and also some very nice Water Lilly shots I'll post separately.

Thanks, Morris. I guess their level of 'spookiness' depends on the location and surroundings. This guy actually came over close to me, which surprised me.
