Sorry about your loss. Cats are whimsical creatures and they sorta kinda sneak up on you emotionally, unlike other pets. We had to put down our cat two years ago (due to cancer and at 17 years, just like Nate). Based on your captures, appears that Nate was truly blessed with a heart of gold and in turn blessed your family for a long time.

We had to put down our older and beloved boy Bergen 10 days ago, so I understand very well what you are going through. After trying to help Bergen for over a year without any certain knowledge of the source of his health issues, he too stopped eating. The vet said that it was probably a diffuse type of cancer that does not show up on blood test results. We do as much for them as we can, including not letting them suffer....Show more →
Adele, love what you wrote. And my heart goes out to you also for the loss of your beloved Bergen recently. Not allowing them to linger in suffering is so important to us also.
