My mother and her family were Italian and mushrooms were a staple of most meals "Mich". My mother and her family settled in Kennett Square, Pa, The Mushroom Capital of the World. My grandmother always had a bowl of them(marinated) on the dinner table!

Tasty Dan... Very meaty. Wasn't marinated though. Mushrooms, to me, are kind of scary since you can eat the wrong one and die. But some are very tasty, like no other food kind of.

I do not temp fate brother! I only buy certified 'shrums and from a supplier from the city I mentioned above.
I love them any way but especially like pickled or stuffed with crab meat....They are a fantastic snack! Suzanne hates them! ..More for me eh!
