This small but impressive-looking building is Doyden Castle, on the Port Quinn headland on the north Cornish coast. It is not actually a castle, but a folly, owned by Samuel Symons, an infamous bon-viveur around 1830 as a place to entertain his friends. It is now in the care of The National Trust and is available as a holiday let.
Taken from sea-level whilst bouncing up and down on a boat trip.
Now that is a place I could really enjoy mate!!!!
I am glad that the property was put into a historic trust. It will be saved.....hopefully...
Were you fishing John?
