I've recently sent three PMs to three separate members asking about items listed for sale. These were new(ish) listings, recently posted by established members. I haven't received a reply to any of the three. In the past, I don't recall ever having a PM go unanswered, even if it was simply a very brief message saying "sold" or something like that.
So my question - Do you think it's just a matter of dumb luck that I sent messages to three unresponsive sellers or is there something happening with the PM system?
If there's anyone who wouldn't mind receiving a test message from me just to confirm that it goes through, please let me know.
Good point, Dan. They haven't been read yet, which makes me wonder if they're getting notified that they have a new PM. It's been a few days now, and typically sellers I've dealt with in the past have been very responsive to messages (especially if they're actually interested in selling what they have listed).

Just be very cautious! They could be less than reputable seller/buyers.
Maybe a non response is good for you...Your PM was sent and the "bright orange" should mean that it is in the members PM box. A good buyer or seller should not rely on a PM notification to check if he/she has messages.
Good luck!
Dan
AFAIK the only way to see a PM is to be logged into the FM. If the items are sold or pending people may not bother to respond. Anyway you probably don't want to deal with them anyway.
