These are really nice, great detail. I noticed a difference DOF om some images, are there different apertures , or did you change your distance to the subject? The eyes are all tack sharp in all the images, but in #3 the feet are sharper as well compared to #1.

Thank you Dave. They are all part of the same burst sequence with no aperture change or anything. So I guess the only explanation I would have is that I was pretty close to the Falcon and so, given the short subject distance at 600mm and at f/4, I had a fairly shallow DoF, and thus any slight movement by me or the bird during the burst may have caused the difference you mention.
