The title of a Aretha Franklin song.."back in the day......" I wanted to go another way with "Zoom In"....This is the US Air Force Memorial in Arlington, VA as viewed and photographed from the grave site( Arlington Natl Cemetery) of renowned explorer, Maryland native and co discoverer of the North Pole Pole, Matthew Henson. An often overlooked explorer...Mr Henson be!
What more "zoom " could one want than to be a pilot? The silhouettes of the vapor trails, jets banking right or left off the lead "driver"? ..........left by one aircraft or 3 zoom into the sky!
It was a VERY bright day and the light was hi key.

It was far to bright for color Scott! Everything would have been washed out. B&W was the only way to go for me here! The clouds have been very bold of late. Deep white plumes but black undersides!
With all the "air traffic" in the news lately, I thought a different take on the "WA" was different.
