I was shooting this from a bridge to the shady water below. There was no way I could reach the bees to save them. I do not know if they survived. Not sure if a bullfrog would have taken them.
Being attached to each other they could not create parallel waves, but instead they just kept spinning in a circle.
Drowning bees can surf to safety on waves they create.
