Made my first trip to Alaska a couple months ago and I will assuredly be back in short order. Wow, what a wild place! There had been a recent whale stranding in Anchorage that attracted scores of adult and sub-adult bald eagles.

I'm not usually much of a bird photographer- major kudos to those of you who are, you've got some crazy patience for this sort of thing!
