I would expect that like many old school photographers, I got started in photography processing and printing black and white film in my own little darkroom. While I deeply appreciate good monochrome images, I realized long ago, that I was more of a colorist. For my weekly update of my web site, I have posted a number of color photographs, both recent and old. These are some of my favorites that I feel exhibit good use of visual tension. Here are a couple of teasers, for the rest go to On Color
I agree Aboud!
You might want to consider a trip to Baltimore's "row houses". All sections of the inner city have multi faceted row homes that are kept in great condition. Most Saturdays you can find residents out scrubbing their marble steps to a bright white. Many on the East side also have "Screen Paintings".
I had a project all set for Baltimore's painted wall murals and screen paintings but personal issues had me cancelling the photo op.
You have "Little Italy" on the East side for dinner or lunch!

These painted screens allow you to see out but not see in.
