It was pretty fascinating (if odiferous at times). There were also lots of barn swallows flying around.

When I travelled from DC, MD to NYC..just outside of the Baltimore Harbor Tunnel Thruway.. in Dundalk, Md...the Methane "burn off" stacks were burning strong...that was 20+ years ago....the air was not delightful on a nice open vehicle window day. Yes the old time brick smoke stacks were photo worthy..Should have had a camera.
The above looks like our present "system" here in da stiks!
