Well, it was a sheer delight to be visited by one of the newest arrivals of spring. It was born in my neighbors pasture across the street and she’s been watching it since it was born. A couple of days ago I saw the mom cross the driveway with the baby right behind which got my hopes up that they might show up one day. What a joy to have them around.
I’m hoping it’ll be a regular happening and I can get some more images. It was really feeling its oats and jumping and hopping all around. Really made me laugh with joy. Wish I could post a video it was having a ball. Anyway, I hope you enjoy. I haven’t been doing much lately because of the extreme heat, so I hope you will forgive me for not being around to post or comment.
The last image was just a few feet from me where I was shooting the deer pics when it caught my eye so I thought I would throw it in. To my delight the 120 to 300 makes a really good macro lens. 😁

Sweet sight and photos. Ya, it's been hot so I've been in doing a home project. Eventually we will get to go out again.

Hello Morris. Thanks for the kind words. Well, the heat has finally backed off a little bit thank goodness. It was pretty rough for a while there. Hate to see next months electric bill. 😝

What a sweet kid Terry! I like that first one. The semi macro looks great too, that appears to be a really nice all rounder lens.
Eric
Good morning Eric. We have an even smaller fawn that showed up in the orchard the other day. Hoping to get some shots of it soon. I love this lens….it really fits me. Thank you for stopping by. 👍🏻

We put roof top solar in about 8 years ago. It paid for it's self in 4.5 years. Before we retired it made almost all our power yet now that we are retired, it makes about 80 percent of our power. I've been doing conservation projects to get back closer to net zero yet with all the rain this year we are not there yet.

Like you, Morris I made a small investment in a modest rooftop solar panel layout a couple years ago. Mine isn’t as elaborate but it does help and it will run the furnace, freezers, refrigerator and ceiling fans and lights when needed or desired. Not a whole house set up, but I like the idea that it’s there. If I were younger, I’d probably be all in, but at this point, it wouldn’t make economic sense.
We have to have a way of keeping the cameras charged don’t we?
