The town of Summerville in South Carolina is known for its pine trees. They are everywhere! At least in the old parts of town. They do have protected status. They are almost impossible to remove. Anyway, here is my first handheld 18 frame infrared pano. I stitched this in Adobe Photoshop. I had a bit of fun with distortion. After playing with it, this is what I got. Oh, the final image was 44 inches on each side, and the PSD file was 2 GB in size. Rather large I thought.
I have never seen a pine tree with needles like this jon! I was at Ft Bragg and Ft Jackson in the mid 1960's but never saw a pine tree like this....at least I can't remember seeing one!

Thanks Dan! I was told they are called long leaf pines. Not sure if that is correct.

We have a couple species of pines with similarly long needles. Clever to stitch too. This and the other would start a nice series (hint hint )
Thanks Jack! I had to stitch it to get it all in! Not sure about a series......
