Thanks Jon -- and indeed yes, it is definitely dustier!
Jack these are SUPERB compositions!
Everyone could grace the walls of someones's home or studio!
Your control of tones is most excellent! Now I dont know much about Bodie other than the images that member's post here. But the fact that the has been no vandalism is quite an accomplishment!

Thank you very much for the kind words Dan!
Bodie is a CA state historical park. As such it is manned 24/7 by armed rangers, and hence why no vandalism! It was essentially abandoned in around 1939 after the last resident left, then sat there as-is until the early 60's when the state pulled it into their park system and decided to deem it a historical site and preserve it in a state of "arrested decay." Hence is why it remains pretty much as-was other than another layer of dust every time you visit. There was an earthquake that hit there just a few weeks ago, and while mild by todays standards, it wreaked havoc in the old, no foundation Bodie buildings; it dropped several bottles and jars, a few framed glass pictures, as well as cracking windows in a few of the old buildings that still have them. It also toppled, jumbled and rearranged several stacked items in buildings like the old morgue -- as such there was a lot more general detritus than I have seen there in the past.
What an amazing place, and it's great that you've done such a nice job of documenting it because it won't be there forever. The combination of available light and b&w imaging is perfect for these images.
