Dennis @fotografur, I was a lurker myself for several months before actually joining FM some 22 years ago. How time flies! And FM has come a long way from back then.
Thank you for highlighting the longevity and success of this forum. I have been registered for nearly 20 years and I am glad I came here, following Guy and others from GetDPI. I want to express my heartfelt thanks for the incredible content and insights shared here. I’ve learned so much from expert opinions and discussions. I truly appreciate this vibrant space, although I am not a frequent contributor.

Looks like we joined 10 days apart! It will be 23 years for me on November 22. It’s been the only place I hang out. Thanks Fred for providing the best photography forum on the web. Lots of really talented people here. I’ve learned a lot from all of you over the years. 👍🏻
Congrats to Fred too! 25 years is a big milestone! Maybe Fred can chime in with the exact day he started the site. Wouldn’t want to let the day pass without acknowledging the anniversary

Congrats to everyone here! I know the 25th Anniversary is next year but this will give Fred time to put together an awesome celebration. Maybe contests, prizes and giveaways

Do you remember Mahesh? I took over the Landscape Forum moderator position from him long ago, which I maintained for a few years. Then Fred took back the reins from all his moderators. I think this was before there was a Sony forum, or even Sony cameras!

I do remember him! I didn’t post a lot in the landscape forum (I still don’t but I should) but stayed in the Canon forum until switching to Sony in 2017. I remember Sony being in the Alt camera forum for many years. My how times change (for the better). 🙂
