I have an OM System OM-3, an OM System OM-5 Mark II, an Olympus Pen-F Digital and an Olympus OM-D E-M1X; dimensions and weights are as follows:
OM-3 OM-5 Mark II Pen-F OM-D E-M1X
Length 5.48 in. 4.93 in. 4.91 in. 5.69 in.
Height 3.5 in. 3.35 in. 2.84 in. 5.78 in.
Depth 1.8 in. 1.96 in. 1.47 in. 2.97 in.
Weight 17.5 oz. 14.6 oz. 15.06 oz. 35.17 oz.
I don't notice much if any difference in image quality among all of them, but I prefer the OM-5 Mark II as my EDC because of the dimensions and weight; also, both the OM-5 Mark II and OM-3 have similar menus, so the useability is about the same.
I have the OM-1.2, Pen-F, and OM-5.2. Also recently had the OM-3.
The Pen-F is noticeably smaller in hand than the OM-3
I prefer the OM-5.2 from a handling and ergonomics perspective compared to the OM-3.
