Beautiful Carol! Yes they are following the light.
Do you have this in color? I would love to see the color variety against the mountains!
Again wonderful composition.

Lots to see here, Carol! Snow remaining on the peaks; the carpet of flowers (daisies? black-eyed susans?); the coming rain in the clouds; and the promise of beautiful Fall images from the aspens!

Thanks, Dan...color or b&w?
VERY hard to decide Carol as each has its own great merits. I love the color! I love flowers to be in color. But I find the b&w more conducive to amplify the mountains and the terrain on them. Snow also.

I first looked at the b&w image and my thought was that it was nice, but not a wall hanger. The color version, on the other hand, is fantastic. The magenta hues on the maintains combined with those beautiful yellow flowers make a very fine image. I'd leave this one unconverted.

Beautiful capture, Carol!! I like them both but prefer the B&W, mostly because the skies become more dramatic. This looks like the area north of Crested Butte - am I close? I'll be there next week for our annual week-long camping trip in the area.

Thanks so much, Brent. I appreciate your insights on these images.

You got it, Al! It is God's country...I love that area. I could spend endless time there. Have fun
Nice one Carol, I love a good mountain scene, the flowers in the foreground are what really sets this one off. The color is nice too, but my preference is the BW.
