B&W creates a layer of surprise not seen in color. This plant, prior to converting to B&W is very 'green' with little contrast. B&W brings it to life in a way not seen in color.

When you wrote the words, "long live B&W," the first thought I had was that as long as people are producing images as beautiful as this, B&W will continue to be a valid art medium.
