At the risk of being "that guy", the subject staring down at a phone takes me out of the mood that the photo would otherwise create. Her expression strikes me as tense, likely because of what's happening in cyberspace.

I can absolutely understand your point. It would be a different photo, then. But it was the situation. That's why it only shows a girl in Brittany in 2025. There are precisely these contradictions you describe.
