5, 11, 14 and 15 are outstanding to me from this new bunch of epic macro work Ronny! The surface textures on the critters is really good, no harsh reflections on the shells, and the wrap around on the caterpillar is downright artistic.

The more I'm getting into this type of photography the more I appreciate your work Ronny. Not only the diversity of your subjects but the skill full way you capture them is off the charts. You've set the bar so high

Thanks guys it's appreciated and and makes me glad
The bug world is exciting and although it is not always easy to get good pictures of these creatures,
Beautiful demoiselle and for the most part all insects and dragonflies like the sun and you don't always want it on insects..dragonflies are difficult to look at really close and be able to shade the light so it usually gets a bit harsh light..in the morning they usually sit high up in the trees.. except for some Damselflies that sit down in the grass there you can get pictures of and then it is quite cool sometimes to photograph them with morning dew and the water droplets.
The best is probably always to photograph very early in the morning before they have had time to get warm.. but you have to find them with which is not always so easy
You Olympus shooters make it look like shooting macro is easy, but I know that's not true. I found it hard to pick a favorite from this wonderful set, but settled on #12 and #14 for the colors.
OK, I need to have new words to describe your macro work
The part I found most impressive is your comment 'ALL images are single shots'! I was glad to see that. So many challenges conquered here, lighting, focus, POV, pose as well as your magnificent presentation.
When I look and my mind asks, how did he do that I just smile and say it's easy it's Ronny

Man, you killed it, Ronnie! The very first one that you posted looks like what I called an Emerald Jewel wing they captured a few years ago. And sadly, they didn’t show up this year. But it might not be the same because the one that I shot a few years ago was black with the green body. Yours, which is beautiful, is a stunning blue. You’ve got an exotic menagerie here and it’s really cool. I love this stuff and you’ve really done a great job capturing them and their colors. More please…..
