There's something I'm really looking forward to: selling my 300D. :s I paid $816 for it with the kit lens a year ago and I think I'll be very lucky to sell it for $500. At $9.14/hour in retail and making nothing from my photography, it's sorta painful.
Like others have said, the biggest omission is the QCD. If you actually use FEC, EC and M you'll miss the QCD terribly. Plus, swimming through menus on the LCD to adjust FEC will be counter productive. With a little practice you can tweak FEC without removing your eye from the viewfinder of the 10D. Of course if you rarely use those features these are moot points.
I don't think having a CF to defeat auto fill flash reduction is anal. I prefer to control FEC myself. That missing feature would be missed by me. Of course if the 350D had ECF I'd forgive all its other faults and buy one pronto.

In doing the demo on Canon's web page, most of those features aren't too bad. Only the FEC seems to be a bit of a pain. I guess it'll depend on how quick the menus are whether or not it'll bother me to have to go into the menu to adjust the FEC.
BTW, I'm not worried about removing my eye from the viewfinder. I'd like to see how the picture turned out (both appearance and histogram) before I play with anything anyway. Maybe I'm missing something, though...
