Yes Douglas I thought about doing that but decided that her book of instructions was part of the 'story' - and not sure that the hands alone are quite strong enough - but what do you/others think ?

Thank you all for the kind words and for the near-unanimity about the tighter crop - having been forced to look more objectively I agree - I got too near the 'story behind the shot' - this is one of the very real virtues in posting images here and getting outside opinions - thank you.
