p.1 #1 · Good news: R5 Mark II and R1 finally added to Lightroom Tether Shooting
Not sure how many people here do tethered shooting for portraits, but when I had my R6 Mark II (before trading it in for value towards the R5mk2) it was one of my favorite features. The way that I have my studio set up, I had a big monitor which I could attach as a second screen to my laptop, and then the model (if they were interested) could see the results in real time. This would often be very beneficial so that they understood how each of their movements, angles, and my lens and lighting choices did to impact the image.
When I moved to the R5mk2 I was super bummed it wasn't supported. Because of my main job picking up over the last six months, I haven't had a chance to do any portrait work, but now that Lr supports the R5ii (and R1), I'm excited to set up my next portrait session!
