I’ve shot both Fuji and Sony too — currently on an A7IV, but I’ve had the X-T3 and X100V before. Sony’s great for performance and AF, but Fuji always felt more fun to shoot with. I tried the A6700 for travel and didn’t really bond with it — great specs, but kind of soulless.
I pre-ordered the X-E5 as a compact daily cam. The small size, film sims, and Fuji's lenses just make it more enjoyable for casual shooting. If you're looking for something that feels good to shoot, Fuji still wins for me.

Still own three Zeiss Loxia lenses that can be used on any of my full frame Sony bodies, the 21/2.8, 35/2, and 50/2. I bet those are good for just about anything.
The Loxia lenses are end game lenses. Absolutely wonderful. I used them on the A7Rv because the unbelievable EVF made focusing a breeze, but the less than satisfactory EVF on the A7CR make this much less enjoyable. Unfortunately, all manufacturers love lower resolution EVFs.

That is exactly how I use them, with my A7RV even when using it in medium size RAW. Their size would have been a great fit for the A7RC. Don’t use really on my A1 since that a camera I use for wildlife.
