p.1 #1 · Lunch In the Rain

I returned from Reno very early this morning and rain followed me all across the Midwest to Maryland. Many flight delays and re-routes because of it. Rain predicted for next 2-3 days. Canon 180mm Macro- Canon 5DSr

Yes they do Eric! The giant lotus ponds were filled with thousands of them in bloom and awaiting bloom.

Thank you Morris! There was a very fine mist falling and sort of screwed up the detail and texture.

Thank you louie!
The GBH sort of shocked me with the colors that were visable. They really stood out and I did not enhance them.

Her mate was NOT happy I was photographing his mate Ted! He was squaking and flying around me as I took the image(s).
Thanks!

Thanks John! I do also. There was a slight mist falling that obscurred a very sharp image to be taken. But I am happy with this.

Thanks Douglas!
I did not know that the "grasshopper catcher" was a female RWBB. Glad members educated me! Does explain why the male was squaking at me and flying all around me. The nest must have been near. This was a "growing pond" for Giant Lotus plants. About a thousand were in full bloom.
Thanks!
