p.1 #1 · is there really tha big of a difference between the SL2 and the SL2-S?
Im in the market for my first leica and I am having trouble deciding between the two. does anyone have any experience with both cameras and tell me about the pros and cons of both?

I only have experience with the SL2-S, but ...
The obvious difference is the MP count of the SL2-S is 24MP vs. the higher MP of the SL2. The SL2-S uses BSI, and has a bit more DR (per P2P). Imo, those are the two biggest diff's that come to mind. The difference in rolling shutter / electronic readout / fps might be something, too ... but, I'm not sure what those specs are, atm.
Probably a few others, but I'm a bit "brain dead" tonight.
