I keep getting logged out every few days and have to log in again. I remember there used to be a "Remember Me" checkbox, but it's now hidden behind the CAPTCHA and no longer clickable (see screenshot below).
I believe Fred is trying to stop "hacking" from members accounts that stay logged in all the time. It is a HUGE security and safety risk for FM and for the user and his account.
Accounts have been hacked here on FM.
I don't mind having to re-log in.

Looks like it's gone now, but I somehow remember login page was having it at some point. Either way, forcing a logout every few days feels a bit painful

Are you logging in from multiple devices? If so, there's a maximum concurrent login count, which when exceeded will log you out of one of your other devices.
Thanks, but maybe it's different. I can visit the forum in a logged-in state from both, just that it automatically logs me out every few days. So simultaneous login is not an issue; the issue is the duration.

I believe it's the same issue. Fred appears to have tweaked the duration allowed for simultaneous logins, possibly as a result of feedback from that thread.

I'm getting this on Edge and unable to get accepted. Recognizes the name but won't take the password. However, I'm not having the problem with Firefox, as here I am. Perhaps either, sometimes the way the browser approaches the log-in differs. Sometimes I get offered name and then password and it fills the boxes taking two steps to do so, or I have to fill in both name, then password.
