My Icelandic adventure a couple of years back involved driving the renowned Ring Road. While staying for a couple of nights in Vík, I made my way to Reynisfjara Beach. However, it was on the drive to the beach that I stumbled upon the charming Reyniskirkja Church. This iconic and beautiful landmark in the small town of Vík í Mýrdal sits atop a hill, commanding panoramic views of the famous black sand beach and the impressive Reynisdrangar basalt sea stacks. With a backdrop of vibrant green mountains, it was a truly compelling stop. I'm sharing a few images from my quick visit. Thanks for taking a look, and I appreciate all comments and critiques!

I like the 2nd one a bit better, not that you asked...
I agree about the #2, the path leads the viewer to the church. Thanks for your feedback.
