I�ve been trying on and off for several growing seasons to get a decent Iris picture I was pleased with, this is it, finally. This has been a difficult flower for me. Maybe next year I can do better.

GR IIIx, and a lot of LR PP.

Nice capture, good detail and texture, Rod, but I'm not sure this is a lilac.

Indeed they did brother! Love musical references to photos...The song was a tribute to member Syd Barret who passed away from drug addiction. We have lossed many very talented musicians to drugs, alchohol or both.
