And the best thing of all is that it sits on public land and can be seen by everyone!.

I believe this structure is on private property owned for generations by the Moulton family, who runs the cabin rentals along the same road. It is very accessible and you're allowed on the property.

I believe that the land that the T.A. Moulton barn sits on was sold to the National Park Service in 1953, however there is still a 1-acre parcel that is retained by the family and some of the descendants still live there. That is where the cabin rentals are.

Perhaps. When I spoke with the people there a few years ago they said it was homesteaded and still in the Moulton family. Maybe they meant just the cabins. It wasn't that clear to me on the boundaries at the time.

It is a beautiful shot… the processing is exquisite. What a phenomenal backdrop the mountains make.

Thanks, Terry! Just waking up and seeing that place (the entire NP) is really incredible.

Love the light on the barn
Kind of hard not to take a decent picture here. Probably the prettiest place in the U.S.
amazing picture. really like the angle you chose for the barn, instead of shooting it straight. that angled view really adds to the character of the shot and enhances the light shining on the front of the barn. everything fits beautifully together. i would make a big print and put it on my wall. thanks for sharing it so others can enjoy it.
