A question for users of this lens - are the filter threads also connected to the aperture mechanism? For instance, would a polarizer filter rotate when the aperture is adjusted?
Looks like a great option for light travel, but deciding on color is tough. The glossy black doesn’t really go with my black M11M, nor black film cameras. The silver goes great with my M3, but we all know that 35mm on an M3 isn’t an ideal match.

I've decided on the silver one as it matches my M10-R (BP), M3 and also Safari M.

Thanks for asking! I just tested it, and unfortunately, the lens isn't compatible with the LM-EA9 adapter. The focus lever hits the adapter, so it can’t rotate properly.
Removing the focus lever screw (which also functions as the lock) allows the lens to operate cleanly on the Techart LM-EA9 adapter! The fixed portion remains on the lever.

Nice! Thanks for sharing this. A non-destructive way to use autofocus with this lens.

Is removal of the "focus lever screw" something a non-mechanically proficient person can do?

From the rear, simply remove the bolt with a flathead screwdriver. It's straightforward. Just be careful not to lose the lever screw or mechanism in case you decide to reinstall it later. You can also unscrew the top pole to let the ring focus a bit closer.

I would use a good pair of pliers and a soft piece of cloth to firmly hold the moving part of the focus lever knob. When the bolt loosens, remove cautiously as there is a tiny spring that will come out when the bolt and the top of the knob are separated. Like Fred says, hang on to these tiny pieces to reassemble another time.
Here are a photo of the M10-P with the Voigtlander 35mm f/3.5 Color-Skopar, paired with the hood from the Voigtlander 50mm f3.5 APO-Lanthar “Olive edition.” This setup would look the same on the M11-P Safari.
