p.2 #1 · Leopards of Laikipia and Elephants of Amboseli (Kenya)
Wow!
Those images of Giza’s mate are emotional for me. He is quite conditioned to you. I’ll bet with enough time you could sit down at a distance and he would come over to inspect you. Or have you already done that here?
Walking with wild African elephants is at the top of my list. I just do not know how I will carry enough small watermelons.
Anything’s possible. Thank you for sharing these experiences.

Thank you, Robert! Yes, many of the leopards there were comfortable with the vehicle and we could get quite close. It's really special to get to spend time with leopards. And being on foot with an elephant is a different experience altogether. You feel a bit removed when you're in the vehicle. Just the act of stepping down onto the same ground as these creatures changes the whole feeling.

Just outstanding photography! Technically and visually perfect!
I cannot imagine the "rush" you must have felt being among these regal creatures!
I think I would have "wet my pants"!
A fantasy for me!
Thanks for allowing me to see the real thing!
Again just FANTASTIC photography!

Congrats on seeing both the male leopard and Giza, we only saw her and of course didn't see the striped hyena! Did you learn if her cubs are melanistic as well?
Beautiful set of images!
Bob
Both cubs are (normal) spotted and seen just twice and both times at very long distances, as she has them on a side which
cannot be visited. It's hoped in time the family will reveal themselves.
