p.2 #1 · Best winter gloves for outdoor shooting?

I recently picked up a pair of Vallerret Power Stretch Pro Liners and really like them. I was very deliberate in following their sizing guide and advice, ended up with a pair that's a size down from what I'd normally buy and it was a great choice. These are just liners, though, and work really well for above freezing temps. I got these to pair with some Vallerret Markhof v2 gloves that I've had for a number of years now but really haven't used. I find them to be very bulky (especially so with the liners on) and not that great at keeping my hands warm. I wore them (with the liners) to a Christmas parade a few weeks back in 20F-something weather and was somewhat surprised at their ineffectiveness.

My two-cents.

Wear nitrile gloves under any comfortable glove and be amazed at how much cold air they block and under an insulating glove, retain heat. I wear them when I go skiing or riding my road bike in the cold or rain.
