Dell Creek Ice. Spent the last couple days shooting in western Wyoming. A few days ago my buddy and I were up Dell Creek for sunrise enroute to the Tetons. An accomodating ranch hand gave me permission to cross a ranch fence line to get down to the shores of Dell Creek. It was a lucky morning because I am sure this beautiful freshly created ice has snow on it now. Ice has a special look and the icy fingers in this image are part of what I like about it. And of course, the mountains of the Gros Ventre are some of my favorites. Thank you for permission./djb
Wow Dave, gorgeous image! Beautifully balanced composition. I love the way the diagonal ice mimics the diagonal lines of the clouds, and the cool/warm color combo is delicious. Voting!
