Early spring, I had the privilege of visiting Grand Teton National Park. I won’t bore you with all the details, but I will say this: make sure you arrive at your spot very early! The park gets crowded quickly. Luckily, I caught an incredible sunrise. Can’t wait to go back soon
thank you all !!
Great shot. The reflections in the river, the pastel colors in part of the sky and the ominous clouds and the soft light on the Tetons, conveying the various moods of Nature, make this shot.
Interesting experience to have places that are so crowded...for the majority of my sunrise shots there's no one or hardly anyone around...(ok sunset's another matter).
I wonder whether crowding is worse in the USA, or whether I'm visiting locations that are more out of the way, or whether perhaps us European photographers are lazier in the morning!
(I did go to some crowded places in Indonesia, for instance).

Yep. To avoid crowds, go out at sunrise except to a very few places like Schwabacher Landing. It's been a cluster every time I've been there. I prefer sunrise light to sunset light. In the summer, sunset is past my bedtime anyway.
