We have an annual balloon launch every year at what's called the Stratrobowl in the Black Hills of South Dakota. The area was used for mining in the 1800s and then the bowl like valley was used by the Army Corps and National Geographic Society to launch a balloon into the stratosphere in 1935. This annual balloon launch celebrates that event. I brought out the drone to safely capture images above.
