Very nice shot of the fireworks and falls. Can you share you camera settings? I am heading up in June and have not shot fireworks before.....looking for tips and advice. My understanding is they set the fireworks off in front of the American Falls......is that accurate? Did you try different locations ie Rainbow bridge, Grandview observation deck, Skyline tower, different spots along the walkway near Niagara River Parkway? Did you use a circular polarizer?

This was shot from Canadian side as you can tell viewing the American Falls ... if you see the fireworks originates from the bottom left of that picture.. that is how they come up and show up in the sky from left to right top.. then on right side you see the american falls. I had to go 2-3 nights to figure out a spot I liked.. I am sure you can do that and figure out some spots that work best for your creative vision. My settings were f/8, 8 sec, 27mm, ISO 160. I didn't use neutral density or CPL for this.
