John these are awesome ! Four cubs, how cool is that. They had to have been so fun to shoot and difficult at the same time. Love all four climbing the tree in #4, that's a a great shot. #7 really shows the scale of how small they are. Congrats, great set
Greg
Thanks Greg. Thank you for your comments. After having seen your awesome bear images, they are very much appreciated.

Wow John these are fantastic. I have never photographed bears amazing. They are all great but 3 & 4 are special.
Dave
Hi Dave. Thanks ! It's a lot of work sometimes. Those few moments when it all comes together, it's pure joy. I told my wife after this trip," I'm not sure how much longer I can keep doing this". Lots of walking and long days.

Congrats on these outstanding images, John! It's hard to imagine that such cute little critter grow up into such large critters that will eat you! Baby humans are really cute too -- and then they become teenagers!
Greg
Thanks Greg for these great comments. They are cute, but did you see those claws. In a few more months they will start behaving like human teenagers. Thanks again.
Darn fine set of little bears and a nice display of big Mama bear. Good looking tones and color here IMO, rich blacks and some nice inclusion of environmental surroundings.
That first shot is grrrrreat! How fun the four of them climbing up the tree, like big ants
#4 and 5 are super cute, #8 gorilla like pose
#10 is sweet interaction, as is #7
Really fine work on finding these opportunities
Karl
Thank you Karl. One day soon you have to go with me

outstanding work, John. I'm assuming 6 and 8 were taken with a 14mm wide angle lens .
This type of encounter is on my bucket list!!
Gero
Thanks Gero. Not a chance bud, 6 & 8 like a lot of these are huge crops. All shot with R5 and the 100-500. After watching Mom start trotting towards another photog. I kept my distance

Awesome images of a quad mom! You are very lucky to find a quad mom.
From the last pic ... it looks like she is still pregnant !!! So chubby!!!
A lot of Bears are deceiving, some at first glance don't look that big. She was like that, when you got a good look you could tell just how big she was. Appreciate you looking and your " Awesome comments ".

Hi Scott. Yes it was a good trip. Exhausting but good. I promised myself I was going to rest for 2 complete days as soon as I got home! Well of course that never happens
