Sunday night in West Virginia. First time ever shooting the aurora. At this location that night it appeared very subdued to my 72 year old naked eyes, but the cameras and post processing in DXO and Lightroom revealed much, much more. Two shots with different cameras and lenses made about an hour apart. The lightweight (230g) Samyang 24/1.8 has a neat feature, i.e., a one button infinity/star focus, which I liked. Nice companion for my A7CR. I enjoyed the evening. Steve

Awesome. I was in W. VA Thursday-Sunday. Gorgeous scenery. I wasn't able to stay and shoot the meteor shower or the aurora, but we'll definitely be back.
Thanks to all of you for your supportive comments. They certainly help as I'm learning to shoot astro landscapes. I'm enjoying the learning curve. Steve
