I enjoy handling Leica M cameras without any cases and my default is to use Yuri's LCD cover with my M10. The only exception is when I'm traveling or want to protect the camera a bit more. In these instances, I like using a custom-made Luigi half case. This case is designed for the M10 series but covers the LCD screen. When I use this half case, my mind-set is similar to shooting with an M10-D or my M-D. Here are some pictures showcasing the camera with the custom half case:
I finally had a chance to print the latest model with the hinge. The hinge works great, and it's a very creative idea. I also added a piece of leather to the cap.
I just installed the latest V6 flip cover for the Leica M10 series. The tolerance is very tight, and it works great.
Highly recommended for M10 shooters who want to hide the LCD but still be able to flip the cover when needed. It doesn’t add bulk to the camera and weighs just 5 grams!)
Thanks for sharing this Yuri.
Sorry for the noise images. I had the Portra 800 recipe loaded on my X100VI and didn't shoot raw.
Here are a few images showing the updated version with an insert and frame, allowing the leather to appear within the frame. I think it looks much cleaner and functions really well.
Here is the 3D printed drawing and images of it installed on the camera:
I would love to find something like this for the Q3 …. Not to achieve a “film like look” but so I could screw it on and feel better about sticking carrying the Q3 around and not having to worry about something bonking the screen.
I just want to say thank you for sharing this. Your skill level is way above my skill weight class, but you have given some ideas here for me try.

Leica M10 design is already quite minimalistic, though sometimes it'd be nice to not paying attention to the presence of extra buttons and LCD screen. It's great that M10-D version exists for that purpose. How about introducing similar optional experience to the M10 cameras with screens.

100%
I use this all the time with my M10-P and M10-R. It's a great way to hide the screen adding no weight or bulk to the camera.
