Some photos I took last weekend of two of my close friends who have been dating for a very long time.
Also I recently got a new lens (a Canon EF 35mm f/2 without image stabilization) and this was my first shoot using it. This is the widest lens I've own so far, and I'm really happy with it. I was starting to feel a little boxed in with most of my work being done with an 85mm, and sometimes a 135mm and a 50mm.
All were photographed using a Canon 5D MKIII and lit using natural light with a silver reflector.
The rest of the photos from this shoot don't meet the forum requirements for embedding them, so I'll link them with a NSFW warning (they are not graphic, just artistic nude shots that do not show any private parts)

Creative, Daniel, especially #5 and #6 that evoke work of masters of photography from the late 1800s-early 1900s.
Thank you so much. I definitely wanted those black and white conversions to evoke that era of black and white photography, so I'm glad to hear it translates that way to viewers.

Wonderful work Daniel. In the first photo, I love how the flesh colors of the couple match the golden foliage colors in the background. That tight, emotional embrace highlights the strong bond the couple have.
Nice work as usual, I always enjoy pulling out a 35mm lens after shooting with a telephoto for a while. Adds a nice bit of variety to the look of your images.
I generally hesitate to comment on the physical attributes of models, but I like how the color in her hair adds a splash of cooler tones to contrast the warm tones of the overall image.

Thank you so much Steve. They definitely have a very strong bond and I'm glad to hear that it translates to others through this photo.

Thank you. I've had the chance to use it for a handful of shoots now and I'm really happy with it.
The way the hair color affects the image is something I enjoy as well.
