Why noone tried to make bigger grip, like the size of actual grip on Z5/6/7 for example.
All available grips are pretty narrow at the front.
I’d imagine because if you wanted that sort of grip you’d just buy a Z5 II.

Yes and no.
It is an option for Zf - to have a grip - there are times when you prefer a grip on your Zf, with some heavy lens. Then there are times when you just want to enjoy Zf's compact OG shape.
I would like to sue grip sometimes, but I don't want to buy Z5ii, cause I prefer old style of Zf.
If I wanted a permagripped camera, I would have prob ditched my ZF for a Z5II.
I've shot slab-bodied cameras (Fuji X, Leica M, Nikon FE/FM) just as much as gripped cameras over the last ~25 years, and for casual use I think I prefer a slab body without grip.
I just need something on the back of the camera for my thumb to grip. I know Haoge makes a thumb rest that fits into the hotshoe, and I have a similar one on my X100VI, but the Zf is heavier and even heavier with a lens, so I am worried it might stress the hotshoe over time. It also blocks the hotshoe, which means you cannot use a flash. At least X100VI has a built-in flash.
There is also a guy or company called KameraKraft who sells a tiny metal piece for about 35 euros (that is before import duties and taxes) that sticks to the back with 3M tape. It looks useful, but he is sold out right now, and I do not really want a black metal piece on my silver Zf.
As much as I love the Zf, I have never used a camera with worse ergonomics.
Most of the time I use my smallgrip leather case with my Zf, that has just enough extra grip + thumbrest to make the camera comfortable in my hands. Loving it. Adds also nice extra layer of protection. Only when using a heavier lens or with the tripod, I switch to the Smallgrip metal base grip that has the Arca compatible base.
