If you want a sharp 180mm lens, and a Leica-R lens, then have a look at the Leica Apo-Telyt-R 180/3.4; otherwise (and especially if you like small), it could be the Voigtlander APO-Lanthar 180/4 SL.
Over the past year, I sold off my CZ EF wide lenses: 18/3.5, 21/2.8, 25/2, and 35/2. I'll probably buy another 25/2 ZE, somewhere down the road. All of these lenses are excellent (including the under-appreciated 18/3.5).
I agree. The Zeiss 25 is a terrific lens. I've heard amazing things about the 18mm, but oddly enough, I have several lenses that capture 18mm, most are Canon lenses. A few years ago, I made the mistake of getting a refurbished Sigma SD1 Merrell with a lens and both were defective, so Sigma replaced the camera with a brand new one, and I ended up spending more money on a new Sigma 12-24mm which i later converted to use on Canon EF cameras. its a huge lens, the biggest one i have. So far when im willing to walk wiiling to lug it around, the photos appear sharp.
