From a cosplay shoot I did today. Who recognizes the character?

Lit using one Neewer S101-400 flash with a 47" Godox umbrella octagon softbox and a white reflector. Canon 5D MKIII, Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 lens set to f/6.3, 1/125th sec, ISO 100.

I still remember that boss battle back in 1998 in Pokemon Blue. That was like 10 years ago, right? Otherwise I'm going to feel old.

Not quite! This is a villain from the Pokemon world (video games and animated series).

He could be a "stand in" for a movie actor who's name escapes me right now Daniel!
A most excellent composition! Great lighting, super backdrop and facial tones to die for! Has a nice crisp snap to it!

It's a digital backdrop that I composited into the shot over my own backdrop.

For anyone interested he's cosplaying as Giovanni, the leader of a fictional crime organization called Team Rocket. He is the villain of the first three Pokemon games and the corresponding anime series.
