From mid 2019. Another client's referral. Not my specialty but always up for learning. Really challenging lol 🙃 Lots of respect for newborn photographers.
What are you all using to scan negatives these days? Some of these shots are very sharp, and I'd love to scan the book of negatives I've got in the (dry!) basement.

I use a Sony A7riii and macro lens with a JJC film holder. Negatives are converted with SmartConvert. Most of my shots in this thread were slides though, so no conversion needed.
The camera and film I used for these images go way back. I was only about 13 at the time and the images were shot on my Brownie Holiday camera, a very unsophisticated camera but perfect for a 13 year old. The film was Kodak Verichrome Pan 127 which was the film used in the Brownie Holiday. The year was 1961 and I took the pictures at a summer camp I attended back then.

I use a Nikon Z8, but I could use any Nikon mirrorlesss digital camera with the lens, a Nikkor 105mm 2.8 S MC lens, easy35 scanning rig and Negative Lab Pro/LR. One thing with the easy35 is that I use "Flat Field Correction" in Lightroom Classic in each scanning session to correct for vignetting that the easy35 has. Otherwise the scans don't look right. It adds a step to the process and takes some time to batch run the photos but it makes a huge difference.
In the air over SW Florida. I'm a passenger. My friend, Les, is the pilot. We would take $45/ hour rental flights to nearby airports, each lunch and then fly back. He said it did it to get flight hours. He also used to like to do barrel rolls and stalls to try and make me panic and puke (never did).
No idea which P&S I used here but at least the date is shown.
