Beautiful images, but I think you're just making up place names to confuse us
Next post from Rajan .... ~!@#$%^&*((A)DHH}|+P:?><, Iceland
Thank you, Anil. The language may look daunting at first glance but it is similar to, say, German. Once you get the alphabet and the general rules of combining words, it begins ti make sense. I don't mean to say proficiency in the language is easy, but reading words and getting the general drift isn't hard.

Rajan, what a beautiful location! Love the way you composed these images. Did you shoot these from helicopter?
Thank you, Parul. No, these were taken from the ground.

Great photos! I can't imagine how serene it must be for the people who live(d) in those homes. So remote.
Thank you. It was a tough life when people lived here. Now the descendants come during summer for a few days to some of the restored houses.
Great beauty in these parts is often paired with harsh weather. The North-facing valleys also have to deal with long, dark winters with exposure to the cold winds coming down from the Arctic.

I love the quiet calm in these, especially the reflection in that glass-like water. The location is beautiful.
